My wife and I recently purchased a house with Laurie’s help. We were moving to Austin from out of town and needed to move fast. We got Laurie’s number from a friend after the first realtor we contacted could not be available to fit our schedule. Laurie was quick to answer our call and provide us with tons of guidance about the Austin market, the buying process, and areas that she thought would fit our family. With Laurie’s insight, my wife and I narrowed our search. Laurie was then able to quickly arrange home visits for us. As we walked homes, Laurie pointed out pros and cons about each house that would have otherwise escaped our detection. Once we determined to make an offer on a house, Laurie walked us through the process including telling us about ways to stand out against other buyers. Because of the hot market, our offer needed to be in that day. Laurie coordinated with all parties to ensure that this was done and kept us in the loop at all points. The next day we found out that there had been several offers on the house, and that ours was not the top. Thanks to Laurie’s professional diligence, however, the sellers offered us the chance to match and buy the house. We jumped at the opportunity. Later that night, we found out that we had got the house––our one and only offer.

Once under contract, Laurie helped arrange inspections and contractors to consult on the house. Laurie gave us great advice on negotiating the sale based on these findings. The entire buying process went without a hiccup because of Laurie’s guidance. After closing remotely, Laurie met me at the house on closing day with a sweet gift. The next day, before our movers arrived, Laurie brought my wife and I breakfast to celebrate our move. I cannot recommend Laurie enough. She was professional, knowledgeable, and caring. She made my wife and I feel valued and cared for.

We’ve known Laurie and her husband for years and when it came time to sell our house, we wanted to work with someone we could trust and someone we knew would do a great job representing us. Naturally, we turned to Laurie. We were in the process of building a new home through Scott Felder Homes and, as you can imagine, we experienced several delays in the build process due to the pandemic and related building material/labor shortages. As we prepared to put our house on the market in the Spring, we were notified of a construction delay, then another delay in early Summer. In the interim, we worked with Laurie and her team on staging, pictures, etc. When it finally came time to market our home in late Summer, we were ready. The photos had been done for a while, and it didn’t take long to have the marketing material completed. Laurie was very professional throughout the sales/negotiation process, and we had a contract within four days of going live in MLS. We just closed on Friday (9/10) so we can exhale for a few days and prepare for our move at the end of Sept. Laurie has been extremely patient as we’ve worked through this process, and I would not hesitate to recommend her to friends or family who is looking for a great realtor.

Robert and I just had our final walk through on the first home that we will be purchasing together as a married couple for the closing tomorrow! Funny story about our new home… We had been looking together at homes with our amazing realtor for a few months trying to find the perfect house. We would spend our Saturday’s and Sunday’s touring home after home looking for a home that “checked all the boxes”. ✅ 📦 I had seen a house that came on the market the day before we left for our family Alaskan cruise and asked Laurie if I could go see it with her. Homes in our area don’t stay on the market long and I knew that this particular house probably wouldn’t be available if we waited to return from our vacation. 🚢 So, Laurie and I met at this house at 10 am on June 5th and had a contract on it before we flew out of Austin at 7:30 pm. ✈️ ROBERT HADN’T SEEN THE HOUSE IN PERSON YET! 🏡🚫👀 I told him, “honey, you’re just going to have to trust me!” 😊 So over the 9 days, we were out of the state (and even country – hello Canada🇨🇦 !), Laurie got the inspection done, filled the paperwork and moved the contract forward without a hitch! The day after we returned from our trip, Robert got to see the house (along with our kids, my parents, sister, niece and nephew and even my Papa!) on June 15th and they loved it, too! ♥️🏡😊 So here we are today, reminiscing about the house we have called home for the past 5 years and dreaming about the new memories we will be making in our new home!
