Scholarship

Camille Johnson, a former teacher, began her real estate journey in 1986. She worked diligently at her craft and after 30 years she decided to pursue a passion of starting her own business. She earned her broker’s license and Camille Johnson, Realtors opened in 2016. We are located in Waco, TX and employ a number of expert agents that are devoted to their clients and love our community.

Oftentimes in the real estate market, we find ourselves assisting people through some of the biggest moments of their lives – maybe a daughter has parents who need to be moved to assisted living or perhaps a family has chosen to expand and needs more space. Both of those events bring up a lot of emotion and it is our pleasure to assist people through those joyful and scary times.

The desire to start a scholarship was born out of a passion to continue to help others navigate the stress that comes with the unknown. The average age of a homebuyer is well above that of a high school senior, so we rarely have an opportunity to guide young people through challenging situations. Our goal is to help the next generation find their footing a world that can feel unstable. Embarking on any journey after high school can be intimidating and we want to provide more than just words of encouragement.

This year scholarship(s) will be awarded to well-deserving high school students in the amount of $500.00 or more. Through tangible funds we hope to directly impact the lives of these young people and those surrounding them.
